how far away can we get on fifty-some dollars?
not very far anymore.  used to be something,
fifty-some dollars, but now two train tickets
away won't be far enough away.  so must i
resign myself to being the girl who never gets flowers?
  i must resign myself to it, there's no choice to be made.
because even if fifty-some dollars would get me
farther away than us, i can't go anywhere without you.
