Horses

I don't pry into your life
I didn't know you had horses
Let alone five.
Five w h o l e horses
Three that you can ride
The suggestion that you show me...
        Laughable.
I've never ridden a horse before
It's kind of scary
Horses are quite large animals
So you'll probably never
Introduce me to them
            Not that I expect it
It could be exciting
But then again, after this year
We'll probably fall out
Like I do with everyone
I fell out with my first friends
I fell out with my new friends
I feel I'm falling out all over again

    My best friend was upset today

I think I did something wrong
She politely told me to go away
I'm trying not to fall out
But...
I never could get back on a metaphorical horse.
