I Pledge Allegiance

I look at our flag
It's in the class everyday
And I still love it
I still pledge my allegiance
To its stripes, to its stars
Because it's my flag
And saying God
Isn't really the point of it
It's a small thing
In a large, beautiful country
In a country
That lets me complain
About all its imperfections
But I still love it
I still pledge my allegiance
To my flag
No matter what people say
And against their raging
It gives me something
Something to believe in
