Lonely Girl

Lonely girl, can't even see
That her life isn't all quandary
Can't help but believe in "meant to be"
Lonely girl washes her hands clean
Life's a play but she lacks a scene
Stuck as a stage hand and not too keen
Who would ever embrace a lonely girl
No one would in this petty world
Full of falsehoods and hair to curl
Lonely girl fights the war against life
Looking for the final fight with death's knife
So she's got no more poetic strife
Because lonely girl is no legend
She's just looking for the end
Breaking everything that doesn't bend
Lonely girl's almost found it
She's nearly reached the exit
Before someone goes and steals it
Lonely girl is still here
But she's hollowing with nothing to fear
'Cause snatched away was her end so near.
