Sailor

Unrequited love was nice
But then there came a day
When unrequited love packed up
Set sail and sailed away

She on an empty dock awaited
A love as fun to feel
And there docked one lazy morn
One her heart would steal

The sailor was called love returned
And withered by sea was he
But the one who lived on the dock
Would relish this meant to be

And happy are sailor and his girl
In each other they found respite
Each had loved and loved before
But now had love to requite
