Vision's Game
Vision plays its traditional game,
Give this protagonist a name,
But out heroine can't truly feel,
And her prince charming never came,
Her tale is full of things that appeal,
To us in our world that's all too real.
Fingers are cold, warding off heat,
Chilled in the mind down to our feet,
Swallowing words we wish we could say,
Life turns all sour no longer so sweet,
Living in the 'absent of light' day,
Vision tricks me into fleeting away.
